SUPPORT FOR WHATS NEXT
The transition into adulthood can be hard, particularly as there’s a semi-clearly defined path through the public school system, potentially into college or employment, and then suddenly….. No clearly defined path (... at all, aside from maybe working until retirement… whenever that’s supposed to be?!).
If you are a young adult feeling somewhat stuck, or uncertain and unclear on what the next best steps are to create a fulfilling life for yourself, or if you’re a bit intimidated by the idea of doing that alone, counseling may be a supportive tool to weave into your life.

MY APPROACH
Through compassionate insight development, we may be able to identify patterns of behavior or ways of being that historically were helpful or effective for you, that may now be more of a barrier or getting in your way. If you’re feeling like “it must get better than this, but I don’t know how,” individual counseling may be a supportive place to explore your past, how it impacts the present and start to make different choices in the present that can lead to a more fulfilling present and future.
Becca blends unconditional positive regard from the person-centered perspective with authenticity and accountability. She offers Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tools that may be helpful in increasing mindfulness, increasing emotional distress tolerance and interpersonal effectivity through tools to help build more authentic and supportive connections.
A kinder world is possible
A BRIGHTER MORE CONNECTED FUTURE
Becca firmly believes that in a best case scenario, the world could become a better place and all therapists would eventually work ourselves out of a job. Idealistic yes, and then maybe there would be more time and energy for being outside in nature, yoga, being good to ourselves and one another, building sustainable connections and maybe even a few additional dog or cat belly rubs.
